Cans of beans or chili or (?) ready to become the next load for the tilt skillets. Some things pour easily out of the cans (vegetables) and others require more effort (chili, hash). Either way, loading up the skillets was always a chaotic time of rushing cans to the skillet and trying to clear away empty cans and trying to keep track of how much had been added to which skillet.
